Last night I saw Sonic Youth live for the first time.
My eyes are full of tears waiting to fall.

It was a wonderful concert, with classics like ‘Cross The Breeze and Mote, and Brave Men Run and Death Valley ‘69

The last song was Teenage Riot, in the end I saw Lee and Thurston making an X with the guitars, Kim left the stage quickly while Thurston was watching her. Once she was gone he sat on the edge of the stage and watched the people who were there for them.

Everyone seemed happy except Kim.

In the middle of the concert one of the few things that Thurston said was something like “It’s a great pleasure to be here and I hope to see you soon”
